Mawsley Village Multi-Sport/Running Club

We are now up and running and already have a growing membership. This new group meets twice a week at The Centre, and members are already achieving things that they didn’t think they were capable of in only the first few weeks. The group caters for all abilities from the complete beginner i.e. walk/jog/cycle to the more competent athlete. Coaching and training support advice is available, you will be able to exercise with people of a similar ability and we have a lot of fun!

So if you spend a fortune on gym membership that you don’t use, or if you are a pontificator thinking about getting fitter, losing weight, leading a healthier lifestyle, but just can’t quite get motivated or lack the self confidence to do something about it then make contact. Likewise, if you are already training and want to have a go at a local charity event or an even bigger challenge like the London Marathon or Triathlon we want to hear from you, as training in a group like this is more fun and will help you achieve your goals and potential.

Group training sessions take place on a Thursday evening at 1900hrs, and on a Sunday morning at 0900hrs meeting at ‘The CENTRE’ Mawsley. On a Sunday morning we will sometimes go out of the village for our session and a potential social. As the group grows we will organise a range of events and other activities including a Circuit based training session on a Sunday evening starting in May.
