V.E. Day Party - 9th July 2005
Swinging to the sound of a live jazz band, uniformed 'veterans', nurses, landgirls, factory workers, evacuees and civilians celebrated VE Day.
The only complaint..'too many Americans'..
The band was excellent and helped create a superb atmosphere. The dancing...yes the dancing.. Bob Littler demonstrated that dancing could be more dangerous than a V1 rocket.unpredictable, erratic and very, very scary!
Those of you who were there..thanks for making it a memorable evening.
Those of you who missed it..Don't miss the Harvest Ball
THANKS to..
