The Amber win their first match at Mawsley!

Last Saturday, 18th November, saw Walgrave Amber win their first match since their return to competitive junior football.   Our seventh game back in the league against Kettering Park Rovers, who had previously been beaten only once this season, saw The Amber storm into a 5-1 half-time lead thanks to goals from Liam Walden, Billy Ling, Paul Linnell, Jason Mann and Marcus Mabbutt.  Despite being pegged back to 5-3, the team finally chalked up its first league win back in the Northants Combination for some twelve years since the club re-formed.  It was also the team’s first win at Mawsley.
