Walgrave (And Mawsley) Amber FC seek Reserve Team Manager

Following the successful relocation from Walgrave to Mawsley, the recent acquisition of training floodlights, and the burgeoning success on the field, squad numbers at our regular Thursday night training session (18:45 every Thursday at The Centre) continue to increase.   We have regularly been attracting over 20 squad members to these sessions and we would like to give everyone the opportunity to play competitive football if possible.  We have therefore decided to start a reserve team, playing ad-hoc friendlies on Saturday afternoons and the odd Sunday, but before we do so would be interested in hearing from anyone who would be interested in managing and coaching these reserves.  You’ll be given every support in running the team (the committee will arrange the fixtures, referees etc).   Once we have a manager in place we plan to introduce a second training session on Tuesday nights with less emphasis on fitness, and more on practise games.  If you are interested, please contact Kevin Simons on 01604-781358 in the first instance.
