Amber Drawn at Home in Northants FA Area Cup Semi-Final

In only our second season back in competitive football, Walgrave & Mawsley Amber FC has made it through to the semi-final of the Northants FA Area Cup, after a fine 4-3 victory against AFC Wymington. The semi-final tie will take place on Saturday 13th February (kick off 13:30) when we shall host Corby Everards FC. This follows a fine run of results which has seen the Amber win all four games under the guidance of new manager, Dave Jackson.  We would  love to see as many supporters as possible at Mawsley Playing Field to cheer us on to what we hope will be our first Cup Final appearance in many a long year.

Not to be satisfied with a semi-final in the County Cup, we have also made it through to the semi-final of the Combination League Division 4 Cup, where we have been drawn at home again, coincidentally to AFC Wymington.  This tie will be played on Saturday 27th February.

New players are always welcome to join us: training takes place on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm.
